ATOM Technology runs a portfolio of regulated online casinos. Its founder, Jeremy, has spent 15 years in iGaming. He knows exactly what a casino needs under the hood, from payments and KYC to the regulatory checks a licensed casino has to pass. He has previously run casinos with $100s of millions of deposits and development teams of 60 people. He built an online casino from scratch in 2024 over 18 months with 14 developers and $230,000.
In January 2026, Jeremy rebuilt his casinos on Hercules. He did it himself with no development team and no code. It took him a few weeks to get his first brand live. Today, six distinct casino brands are live, taking a combined $1M a month in deposits. He's on track for $30M in 12 months. He now runs all 6 casinos with just 1.5 people.
I gave Hercules the casino we had just launched and asked it to make it better. Within half an hour, it had basically replicated what took us 18 months and $230,000 to build. We officially launched it a few weeks later.

Launching a casino in weeks instead of 18 months
Jeremy's last casino platform took 14 developers, $230,000, and 18 months to go live. Casinos involve real money and as such are heavily regulated. Every release needs stringent testing. Adding features like a new payment method would take up to 6 weeks of development, QA, compliance verification, and back-and-forth with banking partners. In general, iteration was slow, expensive, and required human oversight for every step.
In January 2026, Jeremy decided to try building a casino on Hercules. He hasn't looked back. He had a fully working prototype in 24 hours. Five months later, he was managing six different casinos on Hercules collectively doing ~$1M of deposits per month. Bank integrations that used to take four to six weeks with an entire development team now take 2.5 hours on Hercules while still passing all 186 compliance tests. Everything is deployed instantly on Hercules Cloud.
I plugged in the bank's API docs and about two and a half hours later Hercules said it was ready. Not one human, just me, had done the setup. It passed all 186 of the bank's checks the first time.
Running six casinos with 1.5 people instead of 4
Live casinos have to be maintained: the backend/database must stay online, integrations must continue to work smoothly, customers need support, and regulators need certain compliance work done. On Jeremy's old platforms, ongoing casino maintenance required 4 people per casino and usually one marketing manager for 1-2 casinos.
ATOM now runs all six Hercules brands with about 1.5 people. Jeremy built a suite of internal tools to automate the operational work: he built an AI chatbot for first-line customer support, he automated the regulatory checks so that when a player crosses a deposit threshold, they are automatically asked for documentation. He also built a comprehensive marketing and analytics tool on Hercules that runs alongside the casinos, tracking performance across all six brands in one place. One marketing person can now manage all six brands.
We built out support chatbots, regulatory filing automations, and everything else. We have cut the number of operational people we need per casino by a third.

A/B testing features in days, not months
Before Hercules, A/B testing features or even making changes took weeks or months. Only the highest priority features could change. Small things like casino layout, bonus amounts, branding, and upsells can make a major difference to revenue. Even small features like moving a button or swapping a color could take a day. At that pace, experimenting was too slow and too expensive to do often, so most ideas never got tested at all.
On Hercules, Jeremy ships new features and experiments daily. He builds multiple variations, runs it on one brand, sees whether players respond, and rolls the winners across all six brands.
Previously it took us three to six months to get a new feature built. You can think of a feature and have it live in a couple of days.
Why Hercules
Jeremy chose Hercules for speed and ownership. He can use his domain expertise to describe what he needs and Hercules will just build it. He doesn't have to mess around with 10s of developers: everything is included out of the box: hosting, database, auth, payments, email and more. The speed of iteration allows him to launch and scale ~20x faster and cheaper. Just as important to Jeremy: he owns the code. He likes Hercules, but is comforted knowing that he can move his code to another platform at any time.
I own the code. If Hercules disappeared tomorrow, I could take it to another platform. Knowing this was very important to me before I put this much into it.
What's next
ATOM plans to have ~20 live casino brands by the end of 2027 and expects to reach $30M of annualized deposits. While he continues to grow his casinos, Jeremy is simultaneously building new products. He plans to launch a sportsbook into the platform soon. He believes Hercules will enable him to build cheaper and launch faster than the off-the-shelf alternatives. He is convinced more casino founders should try building this way.
When asked what advice he'd give to other people thinking of trying Hercules, Jeremy said:
Give it a bash. You've got nothing to lose. It can change your life.
