Add SMS Sign-In

SMS one-time passcode dialog with an app name field, the per-verification rate, and a View rates link

You can now let end users sign in to your App with a one-time code sent by SMS. Hercules sends the code, checks it, and bills your Hercules Cloud credits per verification. You do not need to set up an SMS account.

End users pick their country and enter their phone number, and the code lasts 5 minutes. Each successful verification costs $0.08 plus any extra delivery charges for the destination country. The message shows the app name you set. SMS sign-in is in Beta and is available on the Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans for Apps on Hercules Auth 2.0.

To get started, open Users & Access → Auth Portal in the App Builder, turn on SMS one-time passcode (OTP), and click Save changes. Learn more in the SMS sign-in docs.
