How do I configure pricing?

Set pricing on each product variant. Choose from:
  • Free: $0 for freemium tiers
  • One-time: Single payment for lifetime access
  • Recurring: Monthly, annual, or custom billing cycles

Example: SaaS subscriptions

For SaaS, create products for each plan tier with variants for billing frequency.

Example: Physical goods

Create products for each item with variants for configuration options like size or color. Features are usually not needed for physical goods.

Create products for downloadable content. Features can include: download access, future updates, source files, commercial usage rights.

Yes. Describe what you want to sell and Hercules will create products, variants, and features. Example: “Create three pricing tiers for my project management tool.”
Features are entitlements that define what a customer can do (e.g., “can create unlimited projects”). To create a project, go to Commerce → Features and click Add Feature. Or just Ask Hercules: “Create features for seat limits: 5 seats, 20 seats, and unlimited seats”
Yes. Existing subscribers stay on their current price. New subscribers get the new price. You can also migrate existing subscribers if needed.
Not at this time, but it is on our roadmap.
Currently Hercules Commerce does not handle inventory. You will need to do this in your app yourself. We plan to launch this feature very soon.
